If you answered yes to all the question above, then you should know Congressional Country Club is seeking a IT Administrator. The IT Administrator will oversee, the daily operations of technology environment to meet the Club's needs and ensure maximum performance, manage third-party technology support services, procure IT products and services, and manage the IT budget. Duties also include delivering technology training, introducing industry best practices, and delivering effective communications.

What will be expected of you:

Ensure the stability and integrity of voice, data, video, and wireless network services. Participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network related hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

  • Educating/teaching others in the organization how to make the best use of the technology, helping others to solve problems, giving tools to others for their success, and explaining the how and why when help is given.
  • Provides onboarding, setup and IT orientation to new and existing Club Team Members.
  • User account creations and terminations.
  • Performs and/or oversees software and application installation and upgrades.
  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Adds or upgrades hardware as requested including disk drives, printers and related equipment.
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT Service Desk.
  • Investigates user issues and requests by identifying their source; documenting solutions and participating in user acceptance testing.
  • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
  • Document internal procedures.
  • Provide professional end-user support via telephone, email or web submits.
  • Provide restorative or maintenance actions to resolve end-user problems.
  • Active directory maintenance.
  • Assist with network design and capacity planning. Deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, and other hardware. Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and resolve all information systems in the organization, including creating, managing, documenting, refining, maintaining, and integration. This include the following systems;
    • Web Applications
    • Operating Systems (Windows & Apple)
    • Wireless Systems
    • Remote Computing
  • Serve as company point of contact for IT vendors. Building relationships with vendors and coordinating service requests for the following systems:
    • Building Security System
    • Telephone System

We are seeking an individual that can grow into:

  • Maintaining all service contracts.
  • Make recommendations on service contract changes and perform proper RFP steps to present to stakeholders.
  • Works with vendors to create and conducts training and instruction for system users on operating systems and other applications.
  • Tracks and reports Help Desk progress, metrics and indicators to department division head.
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
  • Help build and maintain the IT budget each year.
  • Work with Chief Business Officer to plan Capital expenditures.
  • Maintain and build records of hardware life expectancy to anticipate and plan for future replacements.

How we determine your qualifications:

Requires working knowledge of networks, servers, wireless, telephones, mobile devices, web services and audio/visual. This is a highly visible, interactive position requiring excellent communications, interpersonal, and customer service skills for maintaining positive relationships with internal and external constituents. Administers end-user workstations and supports end-user activities.

  • 3+ years of Customer Service Experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, management, members, contractors and vendors.
  • Proficient at utilizing technology such as Microsoft Office.
  • Good understanding of Windows Operating Systems, Network Devices, and Mobile Devices (Android & iOS).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications.
  • Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
  • Ability to manage high priority projects.
  • Leveraged use of technology within the organization.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
