Congressional Country Club is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor. This is a hands-on position responsible for developing and overseeing the work activities of the Housekeeping Team to ensure a clean, orderly, and attractive Clubhouse and adjacent areas. Enable an environment where motivated people want to join, learn, do their best work together and advance. Oversee a diverse team of well-trained housekeepers by modeling the way, empowering, sharing what you know, and coaching throughout the employment life cycle.

What will be expected of you: 

  • Supervises quality control, scheduling, payroll, continuous training, coaching and direction of the Housekeeping team.
  • Responsible for the detailed cleanliness of the clubhouse by maintaining an organized and efficient Housekeeping operation.
  • Evaluates Guest Room and Clubhouse occupancy data to forecast Housekeeping personnel requirements, coordinates housekeeping needs with other departments, manages special requests.
  • Uses multi-point inspection systems to ensure cleanliness quality of guest rooms, linen closets, storage and common areas, submitting maintenance work orders in a timely manner
  • Maintains proper inventory of linen, amenities, chemicals, and cleaning equipment in order to meet or exceed budget goals.
  • Responds to member and guest requests and concerns with prompt courtesy.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations in all areas.
  • Performs cleaning duties in the absence of housekeeping team members, participates in large cleaning projects consistently

 How we determine your qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and team management skills
  • 2 years' work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping basic safety standards.
  • The ability to operate and train others in the use of floor maintenance and other housekeeping equipment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push or pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Bilingual, Preferred.
