If you answered yes to all the question above, then you should know Congressional Country Club is seeking Cook III. The Cook III will work on a team to support the restaurant and prepare food for the membership throughout the Clubs restaurants and outlets.

Congressional Country Club is looking for Team Members that believe the impossible is possible. Driven to continuously make a positive impact on the organization and believe that as a team we accomplish more.

What will be expected of you:

  • Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
  • Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers.
  • Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over-prepare estimated needs.
  • Date all food containers and rotate per club standards, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
  • Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set-up. Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages.
  • Return all food items not used on next shift to designated storage areas, being sure to cover and date all perishables.
  • Operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill and Operate food production equipment according to manufactures' instructions.
  • Clean assigned work station areas.
  • Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices

 

How we determine your qualifications:

  • 1- 2-year kitchen experience, preferred
  • Knife Skills, Advanced
  • Culinary knowledge and follows kitchen procedures in safety, sanitation, and food handling
  • Required to work all shifts including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as required
